Job Description Job Description Job Summary The Graphics Production Associate is responsible for producing high-quality printed graphics and visual materials according to job specifications, timelines, and quality standards. This role supports the production team by operating printing and finishing equipment, preparing files, and ensuring graphics are accurately produced, finished, and ready for installation or shipment. Key Responsibilities Graphics Production - Operate wide-format printers, plotters, laminators, and related graphics equipment - Print, trim, laminate, mount, and finish graphics according to job specifications - Prepare substrates (vinyl, acrylic, PVC, aluminum, fabric, etc.) for printing and application - Perform basic color checks and quality inspections to ensure accuracy and consistency File & Job Preparation - Review work orders, drawings, and production notes prior to production - Communicate with project managers or designers regarding file issues or discrepancies - Assist with basic file setup and layout adjustments as needed - Label and organize completed graphics by job number and destination Finishing & Assembly - Apply vinyl graphics to substrates, panels, or components - Assist with packaging and prepping graphics for shipping or installation - Maintain clean edges, proper alignment, and professional finish standards Shop Support & Maintenance - Maintain a clean and organized graphics production area - Perform routine equipment cleaning and basic maintenance - Follow all safety procedures and company policies - Assist other production departments as needed to meet deadlines Required Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent - Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and machinery - Ability to read work orders, measurements, and basic drawings - Strong attention to detail and quality - Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Preferred Qualifications - Experience in wide-format printing or sign production - Familiarity with materials such as vinyl, laminates, acrylic, and aluminum - Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator or similar graphics software - Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment Skills & Competencies - Time management and ability to meet production deadlines - Strong organizational skills - Team-oriented with a positive attitude - Willingness to learn new equipment and processes - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Work Environment - Production/shop environment - Exposure to printing equipment, tools, and adhesives - May require overtime during peak production periods Job Posted by ApplicantPro
