Job Description:
Clean Harbors, a North American leader in environmental and
industrial services, seeks an experienced CDL Driver - Class A to
join our transportation team. In this vital role, you will be
responsible for transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste in
compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, contributing
to our mission of safeguarding the environment and promoting
sustainability. This position requires a commitment to safety and
operational excellence, ensuring timely and secure waste disposal
and emergency response services. Safely transport hazardous and
non-hazardous waste while adhering to company protocols and
government regulations. Perform daily inspections of the vehicle
and equipment to ensure operational safety. Manage loading and
unloading of waste materials, ensuring secure and compliant
handling. Maintain accurate records of pickups and deliveries, and
ensure all necessary documentation is complete and submitted.
Report any incidents or accidents immediately to management and
take necessary steps as per training. Participate in regular
training sessions on safety and emergency response techniques.
Strong driving skills with a clean driving record. Knowledge of
hazardous materials transportation regulations. Ability to handle
emergency situations effectively. Strong communication and
documentation skills. Physical fitness and ability to manage manual
