as a Surgery Nurse Practitioner Are you a dedicated and highly
skilled Nurse Practitioner ready to make a meaningful impact in
surgical care? We are seeking a talented Surgery Nurse Practitioner
to provide exceptional patient management, assist in complex
procedures, and support our hospital’s mission to deliver top-tier

a commitment to professional growth. What You’ll Bring: Current NY
State Nurse Practitioner License Certification in AHA BLS, ACLS,
and ATLS Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a hospital setting
Proficiency in EPIC charting system Strong communication skills and
a professional demeanor Flexibility to cover varied shifts and
on-call duties Ability to work effectively with general surgery,
OB/GYN, and orthopedic patients Competence in assisting with
surgical procedures, wound care, suturing, and patient
stabilization Nice to Have Skills: Previous experience as a
Surgical First Assist Familiarity with hospital-based wound
management and hemostasis Knowledge of Pixys medication dispensing
system Experience working with acutely ill adult patients Preferred
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing
At least two years of recent surgical or hospital-based practice
Proven ability to manage high-acuity patients in a fast-paced
environment Other Requirements: Must hold an active NY State
License and applicable certifications Able to work a variety of
shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations
Overtime may be required with prior approval Professional attire in
business casual; emphasis on safety and hygiene standards No
artificial nails or excessive jewelry; well-groomed appearance
Ability to abide by hospital policies on dress code, cell phone
use, and patient safety This role offers a competitive hourly pay
