Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ED Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • 13-week assignment with 36-hour weekly guarantee • Current New York State RN license required • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (PALS must be obtained within 6 months if not current) • MEDITECH experience required • Travel nursing experience required • Must be graduate from accredited School of Nursing • Minimum one year of acute care nursing experience required • Critical care and charge experience preferred • Must complete lethal dysrhythmia exam during probation period • Must obtain defibrillation certification within six months of employment • Must be IV, medication, and phlebotomy certified during orientation • Ability to identify and intervene in life-threatening situations • May be required to assume charge nurse duties • Must function well in stressful situations with strong problem-solving skills • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills required • Must recognize safety issues and implement safe patient lifting techniques Facility: This medical center provides comprehensive emergency department services with a focus on acute care and critical interventions.
