Job Description:

The Southern Tier AIDS Program, Inc. is seeking a Health Education Specialist in their Binghamton location. This position is responsible for delivering Health Education programming in both individual and group settings. Ensures staff is current on HIV Treatment options. Assists the Director of Programs-Client Services in guiding, directing, and evaluating Health Education programming. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Health, Education, Social Work, Liberal Arts, or a related field.
Experience working with populations with any of the following: HIV infection, a history of mental illness, homelessness, and/or active substance use is preferred.
Computer literacy, excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, public speaking, and presentation skills are essential. Salary: $17.00/hour working 35-hours per week, may vary depending upon experience.
