Thea and Schoen LLC is seeking an outside sales representative to serve the New York Area with experience in: Wholesale Electrical Supplies and Equipment to join our team! - -Thea and Schoen is a leading independent manufacturer's representative sales and marketing agency in the Electrical Industry. As a family owned business in it's third generation, the Company represents some of the leading names in the electrical industry, including Fortune 500 companies and exceptional independently owned American manufacturing partners. The Thea team is poised for growth and is looking for determined self-starters who wish to take ownership of their careers and drive market growth in this industry. -Responsibilities: ---- Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers--- Prospect and contact potential customers--- Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline--- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints--- Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments--- Create sales material to present to customers - - -Generate sales reports each week and submitting them to management--- Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects and attempt to turn those prospects into customers--- Collaborate with the management team to improve marketing materials and expand the company's marketing presence--- Attend industry trade shows to accumulate new leads and make productive contact with existing clients--- Update client information in the company contact database--- Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth - - -Meet or exceed assigned annual budgets working in assigned territory--- Drive sales and merchandise programs, provide input on new products and services--- Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and recommending products - - -tailored to their business objectives--- Participate in training sessions, trade shows and sales meetings--- Ensure up-to-date, accurate customer records including reports of business transactions - -"---Qualifications: ---- Extensive knowledge and experience with electrical supplies and equipment in the OEM and Industrial sectors--- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields--- Familiarity with others in the electrical industry--- Ability to build rapport with clients--- Strong negotiation skills--- Deadline and detail-oriented --- Strong ability to negotiate and be persuasive--- 6 years of experience in sales preferred--- Can work independently and within a team--- Some travel required--- Four-year degree preferred -Company has excellent benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) plan and paid time off.
