• Interpret and construct equipment from blueprints and construction drawings
• Ability to troubleshoot and correct utilizing the following skills: Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Pumps, Mechanical Maintenance, Motors, Digital Electronics, Print Reading, Control Circuits, Power Supplies, Basic AC/DC Theory, Power Distribution, Test Instruments, Computers and Electrical.
• Uses established preventative maintenance programs to maintain operating systems.
• Repairs and replaces defective parts.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
• Repairs electrical instrumentation and control equipment.
• Boiler operation and ammonia experience a plus.
• Must complete Maintenance Skills Evaluation. Requirements:
  • Knowledge of all mechanical equipment, installation, maintenance and repair
  • Knowledge of maintenance hand tools and shop equipment.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical technical equipment (ie: micrometers, calipers, metal gauges, metal thickness)
  • Knowledge of oxygen acetylene equipment and welding equipment
  • Ability to assemble, disassemble, overhaul hydraulic pumps, relief valves, regulating valves, filters, lines, actuating cylinders and motors
