Join the Naval Nuclear laboratory in the Inactive Facilities
Infrastructure (IFI) unit! We are seeking an experienced individual
that is interested in applying Engineering Theory and Technical
Skills to support Decontamination and Decommissioning (D&D) and
the Inactive Facilities Operations being performed at the Bettis
site for an Enivormental Health Technician role. This position will
require the individual to become qualified as a Radiological
Transporter, Chemical Waste Representative, Radiological Waste
Representative, and become a fully Qualified Contamination Worker
with an add on of Walk-in CSCA. The selected candidate will provide
technical direction and support for management of Radiological and
Non-Radiological Waste associated with the work.
Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill
High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 13 years of
relevant experience; or Associate's degree from an accredited
college or university in a related field and a minimum of 9 years
of relevant experience; or Journeyman's papers in a related field
and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Bachelor's
degree from an accredited college or university in a related field
and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Skills
Prior Engineering theory experience
Proficiency in using various computer programs
Ability to communicate with various disciplines within the Bettis
organization

Pay Range
$83,600.00 - $130,700.00 annually
Salary information provided is a general guide line only. Annual
salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as
well as market and business considerations
