Budget Title: Senior Programmer/Analyst (SL-4)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with development, data validation, documentation, and
data quality reviews of new and existing dashboards including dean
and department dashboard, visualizations, and institutional
- Conduct statistical analyses that support University
decision-making and planning.
- Provide data for ad hoc internal and external data
- Work collaboratively with BU clients, technical staff, and
fellow institutional research team members to continuously develop
and improve the University's reporting resources and
- Serve on various campus committees including, but not limited
to: POGO, Virtual Bl Governance Team, Bl SAS Working Group, PSS
Diversity Committee, etc.

- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics,
Psychology, Computer Information Systems, or related field of
- Three (3) years work experience with large data sets (ex: data
warehouse, CRM, etc.).
- Experience in leading and managing projects in a fast-paced
- Knowledge of using statistical research methods and analysis as
part of a job responsibility.
- Intermediate or expert level of experience using SAS Viewer,
Tableau, Power Bl or other comparable data visualization
- Experience in Institutional Research, data collection, and
analysis strongly preferred.
- Master's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or
related field of study.
- Work experience in a post-secondary education environment.
- Directly related work experience beyond the minimum three (3)
- Experience leading and managing research projects.
