Description:Kinsley Power Systems is seeking a Parts Researcher to join their growing team! The Parts Researcher is responsible for analyzing quotes from field technicians and determining parts requirements. Duties also include sourcing, procuring, and tracking of parts through all processes to guarantee technicians obtain the correct parts within set time frames and within pricing guidelines to ensure maximum profitability. High attention to detail as well as a working knowledge of automotive and electrical systems are essential.Kinsley Power Systems, a family-owned business, has been an industry leader in generator service, sales and rentals for over 55 years. At Kinsley we are dedicated to exceeding our customers' expectations in an environment that is enjoyable and rewarding.If you want to join a growing company with strong family values, a great culture, a company where you are valued for your hard work and have opportunities to advance in your career - then look no further, come join our Kinsley family!Parts Researcher Requirements and Responsibilities:Monitors service quote log for assigned branch or branches, prioritize quotes based on end-user impact and perform necessary action to process T&M quotesManages part research process to include but not limited to researching part compatibility, pricing/availability, and purchasingResponsible for transporting parts and equipment to field personnel/remote locationsServes as backup to the branch Parts CoordinatorUtilizes computer system to finalize price quotes and process new work orders for all branchesSupports technicians in the field with parts lookups, part compatibility and quotesEnsures each technician receives the proper parts to ensure successful first-time repair of equipmentWorks with employees and customers to provide accurate part quotes for potential sales in a timely mannerManages supplier relationships and actively seeks new suppliers when appropriateAssists in establishing competitive pricing guidelines to ensure sufficient profit marginsPreferred Parts Researcher Skills and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent plus two+ years related experience; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basisComputer experience, with Microsoft Dynamics GP experience a plusDemonstrated ability to multi-task and maintain organization in a fast paced, changing environmentMechanical inclination; diesel and gas engines knowledge preferredSolid organizational skills and ability to follow through; uses time efficiently and is detailed-orientedDemonstrated commitment to safety and securityDemonstrated ability to work in a team environmentAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin.Requirements:Compensation details: 25-31 Hourly WagePI5b14f2431194-25660-34139969
