Job Description:
Job Description Summary In this challenging position you will
inspect all raw materials and purchased parts to determine
conformance to design requirements. Responsibilities also include
identifying and documenting while using Oracle to maintain
inspection records. This position pays $20/hr. plus $2/hr. for the
shift difference. Job Description Requirements include: High School
diploma or equivalent. At least 3 years of experience in a
manufacturing environment. Ability to use basic hand tools
(Dremel/cut off tooling) and measuring devices ( i.e. dial
calipers, rulers, tape measures, protractors, micrometers, gauges,
etc.). Intermediate understanding of blueprint and process sheet
interpretation, including functional knowledge of geometric
dimensions and tolerances (GD&T). Ability to perform
mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, etc.) as well as
metric conversions, conversions to decimals, and geometry.
Knowledge of NDT inspection, Source Inspection, and Mechanical
inspection. Knowledge of electrical set-up and troubleshooting.
Willingness and ability to obtain Weld, Braze, and other inspection
certifications as required. Ability to pass visual acuity exam.
This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens,

status prior to employment. Essential Responsibilities: Develop a
working knowledge of Final Assembly Electrical test, Final
Production Inspection test, Final Assembly Mechanical Inspection,
FPI or X-ray Inspection, and Source Inspection as required. Inspect
all raw materials and purchased parts to determine conformance to
design requirements. Develop strong understanding of GD&T and
advanced measurement principles. Blueprint interpretation,
electrical inspection, mechanical inspection, and procedural
knowledge assessment completed. Use statistical process control and
statistical quality control techniques according to internal
process specifications and third-party requirements. Assist support
functions in root cause analysis. Proactively work to improve
efficiency and quality of products. Communicate with team to ensure
all team members are aware of product deficiencies, new processes
or issues and provide feedback to appropriate support functions.
Interact with internal and/or external customers and support
functions ( i.e. Planners, Engineering, Suppliers) outside of home
department. Desirable qualifications: Basic knowledge of Quality
System requirements (AS9100). Proficiency in understanding special
process operations such as brazing, soldering, welding, and
coating. General knowledge of electrical components and test
methods. Specific knowledge in Receiving, Electrical, or Mechanical
Inspection. Preferred assembly, solder, or electronics
manufacturing experience. Experience in a self-directed team
environment Vocational/Trade School. Prior expertise in customer
requirements. Aerospace manufacturing experience. Aptitude for
mechanical problem solving. --- 3-5 years Inspection experience in
a manufacturing environment The hourly pay for this position is
$20.00/hr. plus $2/hr. for the shift difference . The specific
hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety
