The RCIL will drive cultural change that focuses on increasing plant reliability and performance efficiency by using continuous improvement tools to optimize use of assets and processes. This position will lead the execution of Continuous Improvement activities including but not limited to Lean leadership, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S, etc.. This position will lead and coach the organization to deliver sustainable improvements in reliability and continuous improvement.Accountabilities

  • Identifies, develops, and manages Continuous Improvement projects to drive process improvement initiatives for Plant Operations and Supply Chain including the implementation of predictive and preventive maintenance strategies in concert with stable operations concepts.
  • Coaches teams to deliver improvement in process capability, productivity and quality through implementation of CI philosophy, theory, and application of tools such as defect elimination utilizing reliability engineering techniques, root cause analysis, etc
  • Tracks and reports the value creation and develops plans to ensure sustainable results. Uses leading and lagging metrics to drive actions, change, and improvement.
  • Leads the overall Continuous Improvement strategy and supports other functions and teams with development of CI strategies.
  • Provides leadership and direction to conduct organization readiness assessments, value realization, opportunity prioritization, resource evaluation and execute on CI strategies.
  • Analyzes, develops, and implements sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable plant operations and supply chain process improvements.
  • Drives continuous improvement capability and culture change across the organization through best practice sharing, vocal advocacy, and visible leadership, including identifying and implementing opportunities.
  • Removes barriers to ensure completion of project milestones. Influences stakeholders to act--- Change Agent
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with business function leaders, department managers, etc. Required Qualifications
    • 6+ years of proven business experience that includes leading continuous improvement efforts and projects
    • Working knowledge of maintenance work management processes such as planning and scheduling
    • Experience effectively coaching leaders on continuous improvement tools and processes
    • Experience creating and capturing value using Continuous Improvement methodologies
    • Analytical Problem Solving: able to identify problems, apply structured and disciplined methodology to identify root cause using data
    • Ability to facilitate small and large cross-functional teams
    • Demonstrated experience with effective communication of goals and strategies across multiple leadership levels of an organization
    • Demonstrated budget management and knowledge of key business financial metrics
    • Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems using formal techniques to evaluate systems, equipment and failures.
    • Must have analytical skills
    • Microsoft Office skills Preferred Qualifications
      • Bachelor's Degree or 6+ years of equivalent experience.
      • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) certification.
      • Advanced training in Lean and/or Six Sigma, such as Black Belt training.
      • Working knowledge of reliability and productivity practices.
      • Experience with CMMS systems
      • Deployment experience with reliability and stable operations concepts
      • Basic understanding of Vibration, Oil Analysis, Ultrasonic, Infrared and other predictive technologies
      • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional CMRP
