Job Description:

The Marketing & Sales Operations Specialist acts as the subject matter expert regarding how applications are working together to deliver and manage the customer journey across interaction touchpoints.


The Marketing & Sales Operations Specialist will participate in the journey design, ultimately being responsible for the final execution design. The Marketing & Sales Operations Specialist will be responsible to translate program strategy to execution and build and execute marketing campaigns, through the MMC marketing platform. This position is where strategy and design go live to our customers, and it is crucial for this person to understand Marketing Technology and pay close attention to detail.



  • Participates in the design of customer journeys to gather requirements to build campaign including:
    • Understanding of the Business Objectives and goals of the program
    • Understanding of targeting requirements
    • Identification of outbound and inbound marketing channels making up the customer journey (including but not limited to email, direct mail, phone, text, programmatic ads, social, etc.)
  • Translate strategy design into an actionable executed campaign
    • Work with Virtual Sales Team to build outbound call campaigns for sales team
    • Work with Creative Director to execute required channel content
    • Understand data structure to correctly build target audiences
    • Understand and build campaigns using the various features within the Campaign Engine to effectively build campaign/journey
    • Build dynamic content blocks using known data points for use on emails and websites
    • Build data capture webforms integrated with master database
    • Build next-action trigger campaigns where appropriate
  • Translate email content from creative creation to marketing platform and ensuring correct data points and dynamic content will be presented to the customer upon delivery
  • Responsible for managing your accounts for daily review of platform integrationsand overall quality control
  • Experience in administrating, managing and quality checking the applications used in marketing communications, including but not limited to:
    • RedPoint Interaction
    • Stripo & Acoustic
    • WIX
    • Five9
    • ScheduleOnce
    • Salesforce Sales Cloud
    • Internal developed tools for contact management and lead distribution
  • Recognizes opportunities to scale and automate overall processes
  • Communicates standards, best practices and capabilities related to data required to execute on marketing programs, to cross-functional teams, including Analytics, Creative, Account Mgt, Project Management and Operations
  • Identifies and documents required tasks needed to complete the setup and execution of a customer journey, as part of a larger project plan
  • Learns and understand Compliance Regulations across channels and helps to reinforce regulations across team members
  • Maintains and keeps the confidentiality of all customers, clients, and company information in accordance with the confidentiality agreement signed at the commencement of the engagement with MMC.
  • Will be required to perform other job duties as requested, directed, or assigned.



  • Knowledgeable about tried and proven methods in marketing strategies and tactics
  • Brings experience with the setup of campaigns and journeys across various channels Marketing Technology Platforms (RedPoint experience a plus)

Four-year Marketing / Technical or Business Degree or equivalent education plus experience.

Two – Five years of marketing or sales operations experience using various technology platforms.

  • Marketo
  • Salesforce
  • HTML, CSS or SQL experience



The Marketing & Sales Operations Specialist can be based in a remote or office environment.
