Lourdes, A Part of Ascension, is seeking a Dependable, Customer
Service Oriented Individual to work in Our Linen Services
Department. This is a PT, 20 Hours a week Postion. You will be
working at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital located at 169 Riverside
Drive in Binghamton, New York. You will be working Independently in
a Fast Paced Environment. You will be Unpacking Linens and
Delivering them to Various Units in the Hospital, Building Carts
for Delivery, Filling Scrub Machines, Answering Phones, and
Recording Locations Requesting Additional Linens.
Schedule: 20 Hours a Week. Saturday and Sunday 6:00AM-2:30PM.
The Additonal 4 Hours will be Flexible.

What You Will Do
Collect wash and/or distribute clean linens and apparel for
assigned clinical areas.
- Collect and sort soiled linens and apparel for assigned areas.
Stock and distribute clean linens and apparel, adhering to
infection control guidelines.
- Perform daily inventory to ensure clean linens and apparel are
accurately stocked and distributed. Identifies items for repair or
replacement and notifies management.
- Wash, dry or fold laundered linens and apparel, Identifying
items for repair or replacement and notifies management.
- Operate all laundry equipment according to operating
instructions and departmental policies.
- Maintain work area and equipment in clean, working

- High school diploma or GED preferred.
