Job Description Job Description Job Title: General Production Worker 3rd shift - $20/hr Job Description We are seeking dedicated individuals for a temporary project in the Cannery department, which will run until June 2026. This project arises due to the department's shutdown and the increasing demand for pouches. This role involves filling, mixing, machine operating, and requires computer proficiency. The work is in a wet department that specializes in canning food and is considered a Skilled Laborer position. Manufacturing experience is a must. Responsibilities Filling Associate: Transfer frozen blocks of meat from pallets to table and back onto block conveyor. Forklift Operator: Move ingredients and packing from storage to production lines and back, and empty dumpsters. Gravy Operator: Create gravy batches following formulas, use HMI screens, and lift at least 60lbs. Utility: Relieve gravy, mixer, steamer, hydro jobs, and know all four jobs. Mixer Operator: Create meat batches following formulas, use HMI screens, and lift at least 60lbs. Equipment Cleaner: Clean processing area when not needed for other jobs and know all nine jobs. Seamer Operator: Feed seamer with can ends, inspect ends for damage, and monitor line for proper filling. Utility Packing: Operate or relieve on equipment and know all jobs. Variety Pack Tech: Operate every piece of equipment in all departments. Essential Skills Must have manufacturing experience. Must be comfortable using a computer. Ability to lift up to 60lbs. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in production, packaging, inspection, machine operation, general labor, and general production is beneficial. Why Work Here? Uniforms, including shirts, pants, and steel-toe shoes, are required and provided on the first day. Training occurs on the first shift. Shifts available 3rd (10pm - 6am) Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Bloomsburg, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
