Job Description Job Description Immediate Opening – 3rd shift Production Operators Utica NY $14.50 hour plus off shift differential Hours: Monday - Friday 3rd shift 11:00 pm - 7:30 am Staffworks is seeking Production workers for a well-established local company What's in it for you? Associates are eligible: Paid sick leave Health Insurance Referral Bonus Incentive Paid time off (once hired permanently) Tuition reimbursement (once hired permanently) Opportunity to be converted to permanent employee Product Operator Essential Job Functions: Perform machining, assembly and/or extrusion functions using production machines Will work with a variety of metals to create casts Fill out any and all required documentation to track work, record scrap, and maintain the accuracy of completed parts and required inventory May be required to perform rework as needed Can work with different materials with minimal scrapped parts Will learn to work with other support tools such as mics, gages, banders, and handtools Read and interpret simple drawings and diagrams with assistance from supervisor. REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED preferred, will consider previous work history Standard pre-employment requirements apply Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
