Job Description:
Clean Harbors, a leader in North America for delivering crucial
environmental, energy, and industrial services, is seeking a
committed and safety-conscious CDL Driver - Class A. This role
plays a pivotal part in our core operations, including hazardous
waste disposal and emergency response services. As a CDL Driver,
you will handle and transport waste in compliance with company and
governmental regulations, contributing to environmental safety and
sustainability. Ideal candidates should have a strong sense of
responsibility, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to
work effectively in a dynamic environment. Transport hazardous and
non-hazardous waste in compliance with all company rules and
regulations. Operate equipment such as roll-offs, vacuum trucks,
and tankers. Maintain logs, vehicle inspection records, and
compliance with DOT regulations. Participate in training and
emergency response drills. Collaborate with team members to enhance
safety and efficiency during operations. Ensure that the vehicles
and any equipment used are cleaned and maintained. Strong driving
skills with the ability to maneuver heavy equipment. Familiarity
with DOT regulations and safety compliance. Ability to handle
emergency situations effectively. Good communication and
documentation skills. Physical ability to handle manual tasks and
lift up to 50 lbs. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s
License (CDL) with hazardous material endorsement. Clean driving
record. DOT medical card.
