This role is pivotal in managing daily logistics operations, particularly within the challenging and fast-paced regions of the Northeastern U.S. The ideal candidate will handle logistics processes, ensuring that goods are delivered on a timely basis and within the highest standards of quality. Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations ensuring they meet client demands. Utilize logistics IT systems to optimize routes and improve transportation solutions. Communicate effectively with suppliers, retailers, and consumers. Ensure logistics compliance with legal and safety requirements. Strategize and implement cost-reduction initiatives. Prepare accurate reports for upper management. Proficiency in logistics software or transport management systems. Strong organizational and time-management skills. In-depth knowledge of the shipping and logistics industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
