Anesthesiology opening in New York - Located in Oswego, NY -
Syracuse 35m - Full-Time, permanent position - Seeking a Board
Eligible or Board Certified physician to join hospital. - J1/H1b
visas welcome - New grads welcome to apply - Currently 5 physicians
(including Chief) and would like to increase to 6
physiciansSetting: Inpatient; Hospital OR is only siteSchedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00a-3:30p (reserved emergent OR block at 7:00a for
any overnight cases that come in and can wait until morning)Call
Required: Physician takes 1st call and are off the following day
except in a PTO or emergency situation they may work the morning;
1-week day per week (Monday Thursday, 52-days/year) and 1 weekend
per month (Friday - Sunday, 12-weekends/year); compensated
separately if there is a need to come in; CRNA on 2nd call (ideally
call would be 1:6); additional compensation for coming in for
caseServices include bread and butter cases, with specialties in
general surgery, bariatrics, ob/gyn, urology, ENT, healthy
pediatrics, podiatry, and a good volume of orthopedics, with a
desire for nerve block proficiency. The Anesthesia program is
well-established within the hospital and is consistently recognized
for providing high quality care in an efficient and compassionate
manner.Located in New York States Central region, Oswego offers
small city living with close proximity to many large metropolitan
areas. Oswego's location on Lake Ontario and its four distinct
