Overview:Helio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. To support the mission of Helio Health, the Nursing Team Leader will promote patients' health by developing day-to-day management through the direction and development of staff, as well as collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary professional teammates to provide support for patients and their families.This is a Full-Time position with a flexible schedule and weekend coverage necessary to support our team of nurses throughout our 24/7 operation Inpatient Detox and Rehabilitation program.In addition to Helio Healths comprehensive benefits package, this position is eligible for a Sign-On incentive up to $4,000 or $8,000 depending upon licensure.Pay Rate: $35.00 to $41.50 per hour.Responsibilities:Provides services to meet the different needs of clients through coordination with the medical team.Supervises medical and day to day operations of substance use disorders/mental health services.Enforces adherence to state board of nursing and state nurse practice act requirements and to other governing agency regulations.Maintains nursing staff by interviewing, training, supervising, orienting, and training nurses.Promotes patients independence by establishing patient care goals, teaching and counseling patients and their families individually and/or in groups and reinforcing their understanding of disease, medications, and self-care skills.Protects patients and employees by developing and interpreting infection-control policies and protocols, enforcing medication administration, storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.Performs Quality Assurance activities.Provides services according to agency policies, procedures, program guidelines, and governmental regulations.Monitors provision of services when assigned.Assures program record documentation compliance with agency and regulatory standards.Qualifications:Must be a valid and active LPN, licensed with NYS.One to three years of clinical experience appropriate to program preferred.Minimum three years clinical experience in an appropriate program setting.An equivalent combination of training and experience may be substituted for educational requirements.Must possess a valid NYS Drivers License.Our Comprehensive Employee Benefits Package Includes:Health insurance including dental and vision for employees and families.Paid Vacation and Sick leave - No Waiting Period for accruals.Paid holidays, including a floating birthday holiday.401(k) plan with up to 5% company match.Company paid short-term disability insurance.Company sponsored life insurance.Helio Health provides equal opportunity to all employees and applicants for employment, without regard to race, creed, color, sex (including pregnancy, gender identity and sexual orientation), parental status, religion, national origin, citizenship, status as a victim of domestic violence, age, military or veteran status, handicap or disability, family medical history or predisposing genetic characteristics or carrier status, marital status, family status, political affiliation, felony conviction record, status as a victim of a crime, or status as an employee who has complained about discrimination, filed a charge of discrimination, or participated in an employment discrimination investigation or lawsuit, or any other categories, status or activity protected by federal, state or local law.Salary and hourly compensation ranges are provided in accordance with NYS law and are based on Helio Health's good faith belief of what is accurate at the time of posting.
