The successful candidateswill join a dynamic, creative team of cutting-edge scholars andeducators, who are committed to preparing students for multi-levelsocial work practice grounded in social justice principles.The Department of Social Work is in Binghamton University's Collegeof Community and Public Affairs (CCPA). CCPA is comprised of fivedepartments - Human Development, Public Administration, SocialWork, Student Affairs Administration, and Teaching, Learning andEducational Leadership - as well as an interdisciplinary doctoralprogram in Community Research and Action. CCPA also collaborateswith the administration of interdisciplinary Masters in PublicHealth and Masters in Sustainable Communities programs. CCPA islocated in the heart of the city of Binghamton, in close proximityto local agencies with which faculty partner. Having a MSW with two yearsfull-time equivalent post-MSW practice experience is preferred. Wewelcome all areas of research and expertise.
