Physical Therapist Location: Greene, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,097 per week Shift Information: Rotating - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Physical Therapist Specialty: - Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current license or eligibility to be licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of New York Certifications: BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross) Must-Have: - Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy, receiving applicable degree in physical therapy study with a bachelor's degree or equivalent - Previous experience in an approved medical facility Description: Ensures Physical Therapy services are administered and completed in a timely, accurate, and reliable manner. Provides physical therapy evaluations and treatments, as well as associated clinical documentation. Maintains specific service delivery standards which address commitment to service, customer satisfaction, ongoing evaluation of customer expectations, integration with quality process, communication and interaction standards, turn-around time and information processing standards, corporate compliance requirements, and physical amenities/environment of care. Assesses patient strengths, limitations, and needs using standardized measurement, prediction, and evaluation tests. Develops and implements individualized short- and long-term treatment goals based on patient assessments. Administers and interprets clinical physical therapy services, adjusting treatment plans as needed based on patient response. Maintains accurate and timely patient treatment records, documenting progress and changes in electronic health systems. Ensures all documentation meets requirements of reimbursement and regulatory agencies, completed within two business days. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Participates in patient care conferences and collaborates with other healthcare professionals for coordinated care. Provides education to patients and families regarding treatment plans, safety, and self-care techniques. Participates in discharge planning and makes appropriate referrals, coordinating with vendors for durable medical equipment. Supervises and provides direction to Physical Therapist Assistants during treatment sessions. Maintains licensure requirements and pursues continuing education to stay current with professional standards. Engages in departmental and organizational performance improvement initiatives to enhance quality of care. Work setting is split between an onsite Occupational Medicine clinic and a manufacturing facility/warehouse setting. Required: some level of experience beyond outpatient physical therapy; e.g experience in the form of ergonomic evaluation experience, OSHA trainings, or performing functional capacity/return to duty clearances. Primary focus: injury prevention/early intervention, returning workers back to work quicker, work hardening routines. Preferred experience includes occupational medicine and industrial sectors, OSHA experience, ergonomics, early symptom intervention, and industrial settings, experience working independently. Typical day involves rounding warehouse floors and seeing patients, connecting with HR business partners, and conducting follow-ups with workers in the clinic setting.
