Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Johnson City, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,579 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Staff Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Rotational Hours per Shift: 36.00 Experience: Minimum of six months to three years of nursing experience required. License: Current RN License required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required. Must-Have: - Experience in a cardiac telemetry department. - Experience with TAVR, watchmans, mitral clips, heart catheterizations, and preop/post op open heart procedures (when transferred from CVICU). - Proficiency in managing cardiac IV and PO medications, cardiac drips such as cardizem, amiodarone, dobutamine, lidocaine, milrinone, heparin, and insulin. - Background in managing anticoagulants, CHF, CP, arrhythmias, NSTEMI, STEMI, PE, post op CABG greater than three days, sepsis, pneumonia, stroke, observation patients, use of TR band, and groin management. - Familiarity with complications related to cardiac patients. Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) protects, promotes, and optimizes health and abilities. This role focuses on the prevention of illness and injury and the alleviation of suffering through diagnosis and treatment. Advocacy in the care of individuals and families is a critical responsibility. The RN is accountable for compliance with all standards of practice and professional development. This includes adherence to the Nurse Practice Act, policies, scope and standards of practice, ethical codes, and the Bill of Patient Rights. A caring and healing environment for patient-centered care is promoted by the RN. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, delegation, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. Managing a group of patients while serving as a primary or accountable nurse when designated is expected. The RN educates patients and families in health promotion and disease management. A working knowledge of pharmacology is utilized to safely administer medications according to policy. Sharing responsibility for productivity and effective resource utilization is essential. Participation in the shared governance model and support of improvement initiatives is expected. Engagement in professional development and completion of mandatory education requirements are necessary. Integration of nursing research and current evidence into practice is promoted. Providing a supportive learning environment for new employees and students is part of the role. All values and standards are to be followed diligently. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
