Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/29/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Stepdown Job Details: • Work in a 24-bed telemetry unit with capability of taking 8 stepdown patients • Patient ratios: 3:1 for stepdown patients, 5:1 for day shift, 7:1 for night shift • Team nursing model: 8:2 ratio for day shift, 10:2 ratio for night shift • ACLS certification required • Responsibilities include medication administration, patient assessments, and care plan development • Physical demands include pushing, pulling, and lifting • Strong communication and teamwork skills essential • Work with stepdown patients requiring intermediate level monitoring and care • Collaborate within team nursing structure to provide comprehensive patient care Facility: This medical center provides comprehensive healthcare services with modern facilities designed for optimal patient care.
