ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Utica, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/20/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - IMC Job Details: • Work 12.5-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM • Floating to other units required • Dress code requirement: Navy blue scrubs • 2 years of IMCU/PCU experience required • Travel nursing experience required • EPIC EMR experience required • Required certifications: Current AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS • Active New York nursing license required with NURSYS verification • Care for patients with common diagnoses including neurological, cardiac, trauma, respiratory conditions such as COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI, cardiovascular stepdown, and post-operative patients • Work with specialty equipment including temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and Neptune Vapo systems • Manage chronic ventilator patients unable to wean with respiratory therapy assistance • Provide care for adult patients aged 18 years and older • Work in 64-bed unit with 15 designated neurological beds • Block scheduling available but not guaranteed Facility: This healthcare system operates a comprehensive intermediate care unit specializing in high-acuity patient care between ICU and medical-surgical levels.
