Job Description Opportunity Highlights - Join a well-established, collaborative team of Physicians and APCs within the Bassett Medical Group - Part of a large, multispecialty practice with over 500 providers across an integrated health system - Per diem, outpatient-only oncology role with dedicated inpatient oncologist support - Shared remote call coverage (approximately 1:6) - Flexible scheduling ideal for physicians seeking supplemental or part-time clinical work Compensation - Per diem compensation at $300 per hour - Paid malpractice coverage Program Overview - The Bassett Regional Cancer Program has been continuously accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer as Comprehensive Community Cancer Center since 1947 - Accredited by the American Society of Clinical Oncology (QOPI) since 2021 - Long-standing ECOG-ACRIN member with nearly 30 years of participation in NCI and other sponsored clinical trials - Collaborative, multidisciplinary care model with onsite Radiation Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Pathology, and Radiology - Active weekly tumor board - Comprehensive patient support services, including Nurse Navigators, Social Workers, Financial Counselors, Nutritionist, and Palliative Care Practitioners
