Apply now for this top-rated New York nursing job!/n /n/nDialysis RN Job Details/n /n - Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare job)/n - Estimated Weekly Pay: $1880–$2020 per week/n - Assignment Length: 8 weeks (with potential extension)/n - Start Date: January 6, 2025/n - Schedule: Day-Evening shifts; three 12-hour or four 10-hour shifts per week (Monday–Friday)/n - Hours per Week: 36–40/n - On-Call: Every third Saturday, 7am–3pm/n - Setting: Dialysis Unit (clinical support)/n - Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week/n /n/nDialysis Registered Nurse Qualifications/n /n - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State or compact state/n - Minimum 1 year of recent dialysis nursing experience required/n - Hemodialysis experience required; peritoneal dialysis experience preferred/n - Experience with Epic EMR preferred/n - BLS certification (American Heart Association)/n - Strong communication and teamwork skills/n /n/nDialysis RN Responsibilities/n /n - Deliver safe, effective care to hemodialysis patients (max 1:2 ratio; 1:1 for ICU patients)/n - Conduct patient assessments, initiate and monitor dialysis treatments, and document care in Epic EMR/n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes/n - Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled/n - Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures and ongoing care/n /n Ready to take the next step in your nursing career?
