for Examination and assist Provider in performance of patient exam
in accordance with NYS law. Perform vision screening and tests to
assist provider in collecting all measurements to preform
examination. Obtain/update patient medical history. Essential Job
Duties and Responsibilities: Verifies patient by name and date of
birth prior to rooming. Responsible for taking health history,
documenting medications and diagnosis Maintains patient flow.
Assist provider with any procedure if needed. Checks vision acuity
and intraocular pressure and Autorefraction. Maintains patient
safety. Keeps rooms neat, clean, and stocked. Help optical with
reading and checking in glasses Help pick out frames and go over
insurance benefits before seeing optician No experience necessary,
Will train in office. Experience with knowledge in optical/
Optometry a plus but not required. If experienced, pay rate will be
based on knowledge. Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In
person
