Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel MRI Technologist/n/n Location/n New York, NY /n/nAssignment Duration/n This is a 13-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n Shift: 09:00 AM - 05:30 PM /n On-call: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM on weekends, 4-5 weekends during the assignment /n/nJob Description/n The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI scans in both inpatient and outpatient settings using Philips 3T and 1.5T scanners. The role involves patient screening and providing advanced imaging studies, excluding cardiac MRI. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Perform a variety of MRI scans including Neuro, MSK, Abdomen, Breast, MRA/MRV, and General MRI. /n - Administer contrast as required for imaging. /n - Screen and transport patients in accordance with protocol. /n - Work collaboratively with on-site and remote radiologists for image interpretation. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - ARRT (MR) certification required; ARRT (R) not accepted. /n - BLS certification required. /n - New York state license is not required. /n - Experience with Change Healthcare Radiology Solutions (McKesson) and Epic RIS preferred. /n /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
