Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join the dynamic surgical team at a premier academic medical center. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both circulating and scrubbing duties across multiple surgical specialties, providing exceptional care in a fast-paced environment. Why Join Us? Key Responsibilities: Perform circulating and scrubbing duties in various surgical procedures Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment and supplies Monitor and maintain sterile field throughout procedures Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes Document patient care accurately and completely Manage operating room equipment and inventory Greenlife Healthcare Staffing - Empowering Healthcare Professionals, Enriching Lives Requirements Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Licensure: Active New York State RN license; BLS and ACLS certification (or ability to obtain). Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room experience required. Technical Skills: Proficiency in general, ortho, trauma, neuro, and robotics cases. Must be able to scrub in addition to circulating duties Soft Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
