Job Description Bassett Healthcare Network, a leading academic
health system in rural upstate New York, is seeking an experienced,
visionary physician leader to serve as Chief of the Bassett Cancer
Institute. This role will provide strategic and clinical leadership
across Hematologic Oncology and Radiation Oncology services,
overseeing cancer care at multiple sites including Bassett Medical
Center (Cooperstown), FoxCare (Oneonta), Herkimer Specialty
Services, and Cobleskill Regional Hospital. The Chief will report
to the Chief Clinical & Academic Officer. Program Highlights -
Accredited by the Commission on Cancer (since 1947), ASTRO APEX
(since 2020), and ASCO QOPI (since 2021). - Member of ECOG-ACRIN
with decades of clinical trial participation. - Comprehensive
support services and active tumor board. Compensation & Benefits -
Salary: $725K–$850K, plus $200K sign-on bonus. - Full benefits:
