Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Watertown, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,452 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: PCU RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Current critical care experience preferred; must have completed at least 1 successful traveler assignment. License: Current RN license in NYS Certifications: BLS required; ACLS required; PALS preferred. Basic lethal dysrhythmia certification within six months of employment; NIHSS certification within the first 6 months of employment. Must-Have: - Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. - Possesses a thorough knowledge of nursing principles. - Ability to provide quality patient care and assess patient's clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needs. - Must recognize safety issues to self and others. - Ability to assess and implement the use of lifts or move patients in a safe manner. - Must be able to function well in stressful situations. - Good, creative, problem-solving skills. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate. - May be required to assume duties as a charge nurse. - Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills required. - Previous employees must have been gone for at least 2 years and be eligible for rehire to be considered. Description: This position requires a commitment to working nights. Weekend and holiday availability is required. Call responsibilities are part of the role. The RN will utilize their critical care experience to provide exceptional patient care. Strong assessment skills are essential to meet patients' diverse needs.
