Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Watertown, NY Agency: NurseAmerica Healthcare Pay: $2,974 per week Shift Information: Rotating - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 9 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Travel RN Operating Room (OR) Location: Watertown, NY Employer: NurseAmerica Job Type: Travel Contract Shift Type: 8-Hour Day Shifts Contract Length: 13 Weeks Weekly Hours: 40 Guaranteed On-Call: No Pay Package Weekly Gross Pay: $2,975 Weekly Stipend (Tax-Free): $1,246 Position Overview NurseAmerica is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Watertown, NY. This role is ideal for OR nurses with strong perioperative experience who can function confidently in a fast-paced surgical environment while maintaining strict sterile technique and patient safety standards. Unit & Practice Overview Skills, Equipment & EMR Knowledge of OR instrumentation and sterile/aseptic technique Safe patient positioning and lift utilization Lethal dysrhythmia interpretation Familiarity with standard OR clinical equipment Requirements Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience Active New York State RN License Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing BLS required | ACLS preferred Nurses without recent OR experience must complete and pass the AORN Perioperative 101 Program (6 months) Minimum 1 year Med/Surg experience preferred Preceptorship, charge, or leadership experience preferred Strong clinical judgment, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively under pressure in high-acuity situations Referral Bonus Refer a qualified candidate and earn a $500 referral bonus once the assignment is successfully completed.
