Taxable Wages: $1554 Position Overview NurseAmerica is seeking an
experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a fast-paced
travel assignment in Watertown, NY. This role is ideal for ED
nurses comfortable caring for high-acuity patients across all age
groups in a busy emergency setting. Unit & Patient Overview Unit:
Emergency Department (64 beds including trauma, acute, CDU, triage,
and psych) Patient Population: Newborns, pediatrics, adults,
geriatrics Common Diagnoses: Stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac
arrest, respiratory failure Floating: Required as needed Charge
Experience: May be required Scrub Color: Navy Blue Requirements
Active New York State RN License Graduate of an accredited School
of Nursing Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
Emergency Department experience preferred Travel nursing experience
required Ability to rapidly assess and intervene in
life-threatening situations Strong critical-thinking,
prioritization, and communication skills Experience with IV
therapy, medication administration, phlebotomy, defibrillation, and
dysrhythmia management Comfortable working in high-stress,
fast-paced environments EMR: MEDITECH experience required
Certifications BLS required ACLS required PALS required (or
