Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Norwich, NY Agency: Lancesoft Inc Pay: $2,600 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Schedule Details Shift: Night Shift Hours: 12?hour shifts Schedule: 1900 – 0730 Hours/Week: 36 hrs/week Days/Week: 3 days/week Weekends: Every other weekend ???Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for ED patients. Serve as primary/assigned nurse ensuring safety and quality. Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease management. Safely administer medications following UHS policies. Maintain compliance with regulatory, hospital, and professional standards. Participate in shared governance (unit councils, improvement initiatives, peer reviews). Engage in ongoing professional education and required trainings. Integrate current nursing research and evidence?based practice. Support orientation of new staff and students. Perform Charge Nurse or Shift Coordinator duties when assigned. Perform additional unit?based responsibilities as needed. Requirements Education Requirements Required Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Licensure & Certifications Required Active New York State Registered Nurse License BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross) Unit-specific certifications required: ACLS PALS TNCC Preferred Professional certification in a related emergency nursing specialty Experience Requirements Required 2 years Emergency Department (ED) experience Preferred Previous acute care or ambulatory nursing experience
