Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Watertown, NY Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $2,164 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position ID: 75337742 Shift: Night 12x3 Description: HWL Medical Center-AN-0687 MS/Tele FLOAT RN\r\n100 Mile Radius Rule\r\n36 hours\r\n12hr shifts - weekend, holiday and call required\r\n7p-7a\r\n13 weeks\r\nPCU exp highly preferred\r\nFLOAT: MS 4 Pav, MS 5 Pratt, PCU and the acute inpatient rehab (ortho/neuro)\r\nBLS, ACLS REQUIRED\r\nRATIO: 1:5-6\r\nMeditech experience required\r\nTraveler must hold CURRENT NY license.\r\nTraveler should have completed at least 1 successful traveler assignment.\r\nFirst time travelers will NOT be considered.\r\nGraduate from an accredited School of Nursing.\r\nCommon patient diagnosis: Septic, COPD, CHF, post op, general med surg, post-op plastics, ALC (waiting to go to nursing home)\r\nRequired drips and medications: Heparin drips, mag and k riders\r\nPossesses a thorough knowledge of nursing principles. Ability to provide quality patient care, and ability to assess patient's needs, e.g. clinical, teaching, mental and spiritual.\r\nMust recognize safety issues to self and others and be able to assess and implement use of lifts to and move patients in a safe manner.\r\nMust be able to function well in stressful situations and have good, creative, problem-solving skills.\r\nStrong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate.\r\nMay be required to assume duties as a charge nurse.\r\nExcellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills required.
