Travel Registered Nurse – Intermediate Care (IMCU) Location: Utica, NY Employer: NurseAmerica Job Type: Travel Contract Contract Length: 13 Weeks Shift Options: Day/ Evening/ Night 12-Hour Shifts Weekly Hours: 36 Guaranteed On-Call: No Pay Package Estimated Weekly Gross: $2,500 Weekly Housing & Meals Stipend (Tax-Free): $1,200 Weekly Taxable Wages: $1,300 Position Overview NurseAmerica is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for a travel assignment in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) . This role is ideal for nurses with strong IMCU/PCU backgrounds who are comfortable caring for high-acuity adult patients across multiple specialties. Unit Details Unit: Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Beds: 64 (including designated Neuro beds) Patient Population: Adult patients Common Diagnoses: Neuro, Cardiac, Trauma, COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MI, CV Stepdown, Post-Operative Specialty Equipment: Temporary pacers, Chest tubes, A-lines, BiPAP, Neptune Vapo Vent Experience: Chronic vents with RT support Floating Required: Yes Scrub Color: Navy Blue Requirements Minimum 2 years of IMCU or PCU experience Active New York RN License BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications Experience with Epic EMR 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing A diverse portfolio of experiences adds depth to your professional profile.
