required\r\nShift: 11a-7:30p\r\nMUST BE CERTIFIED\r\nMust have
travel experience!\r\nMust have Ortho experience!\r\nMust have
scrubbing experience!\r\nMust have Davinci experience!\r\nMay be
asked to precept new staff\r\nCompletion of a Certified Surgical
Tech program preferred or current New York State LPN license
eligible\r\nApproved pharmacology course or previous medication
experience and successful achievement in medications
exam.\r\nKnowledge in the use of
cleaning/sterilization/disinfections of equipment and
instrumentation utilized in the clinical operating room
setting.\r\nBLS required.\r\nContinuing education requirements of
15 CEU's per year.\r\nQualified candidate will function under the
direct supervision of an RN and assist in Nursing care and
preparation of the surgical patient by performing routine &
delegated duties according to the standards and policies of the
hospital and department.\r\nCandidate will perform technical duties
relating to scrub personnel, including precise & efficient reaction
to all situations & assist with departmental work as
assigned.\r\nSurgical techs have a vital role in creating and
maintaining a sterile surgical room and ensure that surgical
equipment is functioning properly & safely as well as assisting
surgeons during surgical procedures.\r\nMust arrive within 1/2 hour
of getting called in. Guaranteed Hours: 40 Weekly Contract Weeks:93
