Opportunity – Emergency Department Charge Nurse – New York Start
Date: February 16, 2026 Location: Utica, New York Compensation:
Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Night shift,
6:30 PM – 7:00 AM Highlights: 64-bed Emergency Department treating
diverse patient populations from newborn to geriatric High-acuity
case mix including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and
respiratory failure Charge nurse capability highly preferred;
leadership opportunity in a fast-paced environment EPIC EMR system;
specialty equipment includes Rapid Infuser and Arctic Sun
Comprehensive ED with 40 acute beds, 2 trauma bays, 6 super track,
10 CDU, 6 psych, and 2 triage areas Travel assignment with local
candidates considered Requirements: Active New York RN license
(NURSYS verification required) Minimum 2 years of Emergency
Department experience with pediatric exposure Documented travel
nursing experience preferred Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS,
and TNCC certifications required Two recent ED Charge Nurse or
Manager references required EPIC EMR experience required
Willingness to float to other units as needed Why It's a Great
