Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - IMC Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM • Floating required to other units as needed • Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed • Navy blue scrubs required • 2 years of experience in IMCU/PCU required • Travel experience required • EPIC EMR experience required • Current certifications required: AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS • Active NY nursing license required with NURSYS verification • Care for adult patients 18 years and older • Work in 64-bed unit with 15 designated neuro beds • Common diagnoses include neurological, cardiac, trauma, respiratory conditions including COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, and post-operative patients • Work with specialty equipment including temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and Neptune Vapo systems • Manage chronic ventilator patients unable to wean with respiratory therapy assistance • Local candidates accepted with local rates applying for those within 75 miles Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive intermediate care unit providing specialized monitoring and treatment for patients requiring a higher level of care than general medical floors but less intensive than ICU settings. The facility maintains a 64-bed IMCU with dedicated neurological care beds and advanced medical equipment to support complex patient conditions including cardiac, trauma, and respiratory cases.
