Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel MS RN - Oncology Location Not specified Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shift from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. Job Description The MS RN will work in an Oncology unit, providing care for patients with cancer diagnoses as well as hematology, nephrology, endocrine, GI, dermatology, and general medicine conditions. The role requires oncology experience and the ability to float to other units as needed. Responsibilities - Provide patient care in the Oncology unit. - Administer medications including heparin, Lasix, and chemotherapy. - Utilize specialty equipment such as IV pumps, NG tubes, and chest tubes. - Manage various patient conditions including CA diagnoses, ESRD, diabetes, and abdominal pain. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - Oncology experience is mandatory. - 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing. - Current AHA BLS certification. - NIHSS certification. - Active NY nursing license verified by NURSYS report. - Skills Checklist matching Oncology specialty. - 2 recent references from MS Charge/Manager RNs.
