active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available
for a licensed Physical Therapist to support a K-12 school during a
maternity leave assignment in Ithaca, NY. This full-time contract
role begins as soon as possible and runs through April, primarily
serving elementary and middle school students. The position offers
a rewarding chance to provide specialized physical therapy services
within an educational setting, enhancing student growth and
development. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct physical therapy
evaluations and deliver treatments tailored to school-aged children
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary
professionals to address student needs - Document therapy progress
thoroughly and adhere to school policies and compliance
requirements - Customize interventions based on individual student
goals and educational plans Desired Qualifications: - Licensed
Physical Therapist with experience working in school environments -
Proficiency in pediatric physical therapy assessments and
interventions for K-12 students - Capability to work independently
and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team - Strong
communication, organizational, and documentation skills Location:
Ithaca, New York (onsite at a K-12 school) Duration: Full-time
contract position covering maternity leave, from ASAP through April
