Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Provide critical care in a fast-paced pediatric intensive care setting at a prominent medical center. This opportunity seeks experienced Registered Nurses to deliver expert nursing care during daytime hours, supporting young patients in need of specialized attention. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and provide patient-centered care in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma pediatric ICU Manage care for critically ill pediatric patients with minimal supervision following an orientation period Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes Utilize electronic medical records proficiently; EPIC experience preferred Work every other weekend and remain available for some holiday shifts as required Qualifications: Current New York State RN license in good standing Minimum of 3 years recent PICU nursing experience within the last 2 years at an acute care facility of comparable size and trauma level BLS certification with ability to maintain recertification Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills No history of professional license suspension or involvement in professional liability claims Legal work authorization in the United States Successful completion of pre-employment health screening, drug testing, and background checks Location Insights:Baldwinsville, NY, offers a welcoming community with a blend of suburban charm and access to natural beauty.
