Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Respiratory Therapist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 02/09/2026 - Duration: 8 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity Position: Night Shift Registered Respiratory Therapist We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team for the night shift. The position requires a valid New York State license and a commitment to providing exceptional care to patients ranging from neonates to adults. Job Details - Shift: Night - 3 x 12 hour shifts - Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours - Contract Days: 56 days Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for: - Administering respiratory therapy treatments and procedures. - Managing high flow and mechanical ventilation. - Performing arterial punctures and non-invasive ventilation techniques. - Utilizing critical thinking skills to assess and respond to patient needs. - Adhering to established protocols and guidelines. Qualifications - Licensure: Must hold a valid New York State license (RRT required). - Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required; NRP preferred but not mandatory. - Experience: Prior NICU experience is advantageous but not necessary. - Skills: Strong critical care and critical thinking skills required. Weekend Requirements This position requires coverage for 2-3 nights on the weekends.
