Schedule Day rotational; 40 hours per week (7 on/7 off from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM). Job Description The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist CT will ensure that the evaluation of Radiology procedures, equipment, and staff are administered in a manner that is accurate, timely, responsive, and reliable. The position serves a variety of customers, including employees, Medical Staff, patients, and regulatory agencies, with a strong focus on activities that directly affect customer service. Responsibilities - Maintain confidentiality of patients and hospital information. - Comply with all hospital policies and procedures pertaining to incident reporting. - Perform CT procedures as requested by referring physicians. - Demonstrate adequate radiation safety practices for patients and co-workers. - Participate in all Radiology Management System functions related to patient procedures. - Provide patient education as required. - Maintain effective communications with referring physicians and radiologist staff for efficient delivery of CT procedures. - Abide by the service delivery standards of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging & Radiology. - Adhere to accepted clinical principles, methods, and procedures while performing CT procedures. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - Associate's degree in radiologic technology. - NYS Radiology Technologist license (NYS Department of Health). - ARRT (R) Certification. - BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross). - NYS Injection certification. - ARRT CT Registration preferred.
