Schedule Nights; 36 hours per week. Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality respiratory care services to patients in a critical care and NICU environment. The ideal candidate will ensure timely, accurate, and reliable respiratory therapy services for inpatients, outpatients, and staff. Responsibilities - Administer respiratory therapy procedures per management directives. - Perform various therapy treatments including Aerosol, CPT/Flutter/PEP Mask, Incentive Spirometry, and M.D.I. - Manage Oxygen Therapy and related safety protocols. - Administer and monitor BiPAP-CPAP therapy. - Conduct pulmonary function screenings and EKG procedures. - Manage mechanical ventilation and alarms. - Perform arterial punctures and blood gas analyses. - Maintain accurate records and communicate results effectively. - Assist in departmental in-service programs and perform related duties as assigned. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - 1 year of experience in critical care and NICU settings. - Current NYS Respiratory Therapy License. - Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC RRT) certification. - BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
