Travel Job Opportunity Diagnostic Imaging Technologist - CT The
Diagnostic Imaging Technologist specializing in CT will be
responsible for the evaluation of Radiology procedures, equipment,
and personnel to ensure operations are accurate, timely,
responsive, and reliable. This role serves a diverse range of
customers, including hospital employees, medical staff, patients,
and regulatory agencies, with a strong emphasis on activities that
prioritize customer service. Key Responsibilities - Maintain the
confidentiality of patient and hospital information. - Comply with
all hospital policies and procedures related to incident reporting.
- Perform other related duties as required. - Execute CT procedures
as requested by referring physicians competently. - Implement
appropriate radiation safety practices for both patients and
co-workers. - Participate in all functions of the Radiology
Management System related to patient procedures. - Provide
necessary patient education. - Maintain effective communication
with referring physicians and radiologist staff to enhance the
delivery of CT procedures. - Abide by the service delivery
standards of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging & Radiology in
all interactions with patients, visitors, employees, and other
customers. - Adhere to accepted clinical principles, methods, and
procedures while performing CT procedures. Required Skills &

Technical expertise in diagnostic imaging Education - Required:
Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology - Preferred: N/A
Certifications & Licensure - Required: - NYS Radiology Technologist
license (NYS Department of Health) - ARRT(R) - BLS Certification
(AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross) - NYS Injection certification -
Preferred: ARRT CT Registration Schedule This position requires a
night rotational schedule of 36 hours per week (7 on/7 off, 7:00 PM
- 5:30 AM). Experience with Siemens and GE scanners is preferred.
