Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Stepdown - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 08/04/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Step Down/PCU Endless Mountains Health Systems | Montrose, PA Position Overview: We're seeking an experienced Step Down RN for our combined PCU/IMC unit at this community hospital. This role involves providing intermediate-level care while floating to our Med-Surg Telemetry unit as needed. Position Details: - Specialty: Step Down/PCU with Med-Surg Telemetry - Shift: Nights (3x12s, 19:00-07:00) - Start Date: 07/28/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - Patient Ratio: 1:5 (Days), 1:6 (Nights/Weekends) - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Key Requirements: ? Experience: - 2 years Step Down, IMC, or Telemetry experience - Charge nurse experience required - First-time travelers accepted ? Critical Skills: - Cardiac/insulin drip titration (required) - Foley insertion, potassium administration - Cardiac monitoring & dysrhythmia interpretation ? Certifications: - Required: ACLS, BLS (AHA/ARC) - Preferred: PALS Unit Specifications: - Patient Population: All ages (Infants - Geriatrics) - Average Census: 12 patients - Beds: 25 - Charting System: Meditech (experience required) - Medication System: Omnicell Pay package can be customized based on your specific needs and preferences.
