Pay Information $2,452 per week About The Position Job Title: PCU RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Current critical care experience preferred; must have completed at least one successful traveler assignment. License: Current RN license required. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS required; PALS preferred; IV and IV contrast certification required. Must-Have: Must recognize safety issues and assess patient needs, possess strong leadership skills, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Description: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Traveler must have completed at least one successful traveler assignment. Possesses thorough knowledge of nursing principles. Ability to provide quality patient care and assess patient's needs, including clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual. Must recognize safety issues to self and others. Capable of assessing and implementing the use of lifts or moving patients safely. Must function well in stressful situations and possess good, creative problem-solving skills. Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks. May be required to assume duties as a charge nurse. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills are required. Basic lethal dysrhythmia training is required within six months of employment. NIHSS certification must be obtained within the first six months of employment. Previous employees must have been gone for at least two years and be eligible for rehire to be considered.
