17701! About The Position Wellhart is partnering with a
Multi-specialty Clinic in Pennsylvania to place a locum tenens
Nurse Practitioner specializing in Cardiothoracic Surgery for an
84-day assignment starting May 1, 2025. The position requires
weekday shifts with night call and weekend coverage. The NP will
primarily serve as a First Assistant in cardiothoracic surgeries,
including endoscopic vein harvesting. Start Date: May 1, 2025 LOA:
84 days Schedule: • Monday-Friday: 7am-6pm, followed by night call
6pm-7am • Weekend call: 7am-7am with rounding approximately
10am-4pm Facility Location: Pennsylvania Provider Needed: Nurse
Practitioner specializing in Cardiothoracic Surgery Type of
Facility: Multi-specialty Clinic Requirements: • Board
Certification as a Nurse Practitioner • Active Pennsylvania state
license • Minimum 1 year of experience in cardiothoracic surgery •
DEA license • ACLS, BLS, and CPR certifications • Ability to
perform endoscopic vein harvesting Responsibilities: • Serve as
First Assistant in cardiothoracic surgeries • Perform endoscopic
vein harvesting • Assist in various procedures including CABG,
thoracic cases, AVR, TAVR, and aortic cases • Handle weekday and
weekend call duties • Conduct patient rounds on weekends Interested
